MONTREE-FX is a combination medication designed to provide comprehensive relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. Montelukast sodium, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, works by reducing inflammation and preventing bronchoconstriction, while Fexofenadine HCL, a non-drowsy antihistamine, alleviates allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. Together, these ingredients help manage and prevent both respiratory and skin-related allergy symptoms, offering a dual-action approach to improving patients’ quality of life.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances called leukotrienes. Leukotrienes cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs and also cause allergy symptoms.
- Fexofenadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
- The combination helps in providing a comprehensive approach to managing and alleviating allergy and asthma symptoms.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Take one tablet orally, usually once daily in the evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
- Follow the prescribed dosage and duration as directed by your healthcare provider.
SIDE EFFECTS:
- Common: Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea.
- Serious: Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness), mood or mental changes (such as agitation, aggression, hallucinations, depression, suicidal thoughts), liver problems (such as yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine, persistent nausea/vomiting).

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:
- Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to montelukast, fexofenadine, or any component of the formulation.
