CTH-30

CTH-30 tablets contain Cinacalcet, a medication used to treat conditions such as secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis and hypercalcemia in patients with parathyroid carcinoma. Cinacalcet works by increasing the sensitivity of calcium-sensing receptors on the parathyroid gland, thereby lowering levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, and phosphorus in the body.

HOW IT WORKS:

Cinacalcet acts as a calcimimetic agent, which increases the sensitivity of the calcium-sensing receptors on the parathyroid gland.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Take the tablet orally with food or shortly after a meal.
Follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily.
Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain, and dizziness.
Serious: Low calcium levels (hypocalcemia) leading to symptoms like muscle cramps, tingling, and seizures.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:

Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to cinacalcet or any components of the tablet. Avoid use in patients with low blood calcium levels (hypocalcemia).
